Steve Jobs remembered in Indonesia
Seen on Saturday afternoon in the Paris Van Java shopping mall: A tribute to Steve Jobs displayed in the window of a shop called Zoom, an authorized Apple reseller. The young man above is writing his thoughts on a Post-It note. Jobs’s death was a huge Page One story in the Jakarta Post on Friday morning. There have been several articles and opinion pieces written by Indonesians who admired the Apple founder and CEO.
I haven’t seen a huge number of iPhones in use here, but I have seen a few iPads and many more MacBooks than I had expected.
